California Here I Come... Day 1

If you're not familiar with the words, the next stanza

is "Right back where I started from".  I am a 5th generation Californian!!!

This will be a 2 1/2 day driving trip.

Today features "Day 1 - to Kingman AZ"  Our shortest day, only

233 miles.   Here's what caught the eye of my I-phone.

Loved the plants on all the balconies as we went thru Scottsdale AZ.

If you're interested, the Condo complex proudly displayed it's number!!!

Another favorite spot to visit on our trips from CA to AZ

over the past 20 years is  Wickenburg, AZ...

and we took a 1 hour lunch break at our most favorite Mexican

restaurant.  If  you're ever passing thru Wickenburg,  put it on your

bucket list.

Then it was a lot of not much.

Well, maybe a few interesting rock formations here & there

and sometimes "Nothing".   Click on photo for a larger view.

As we continued N on Hwy 93, you decide...

Then there was something... Burro Canyon crossing.

Then more almost nothing...

and then really something, a man made marvel.

And another something... not man made!!!

Then fabulous formations as we were flying by at 70 mph.

And, speaking of flying...

I proudly STAND UP for the land of the FREE and the home of the BRAVE!!!
