Ahhh... Way More Over Here

A great nights stay at the Best Western Plus - a Wayfarer’s Inn & Suite Kingman AZ was complimented by Corvette’s of every size & style.
They were in town for a Route 66 event.

My personal favorite

Today was a 180 degree visual difference
from yesterday, with lots of enjoyable scenery...

and floral encounters.
Ocotilla

up close & personal.

Yucca and
Prickle pear in a variety of colors.

A hedgehog here & there and even

Arizona's State Flower (the Saguaro Cactus blossom)

My favorite, the Prickly Poppy (ArgemoneMexicana).
With our first full view of the Superstition Mountains,
we knew we were almost there after 900 miles.
And fuel prices were way better than Colfax CA ($4.81/gal - regular),
We were no longer homeless as we pulled
into Superstition Views - Gold Canyon AZ

The unloading & unpacking began immediately upon arrival,
about 12 noon on Saturday May 4th.

The "deal" unpack it and put it where it belongs!!!
By 12:00 noon Sunday we had completed the job.

Time to relax and enjoy AZ for a few days before "Round 2".

Another Mixed Bag: Ruby + Flowers and other things...

Can you believe this weather for the Sacramento CA area in late JUNE???  Time to head outside. There were interesting vapor trails in a beau...
