Bicycle Sprint Racing Hawaiian Style...

It's a Long Story...

Son Eric & daughter-in-law Susan  (with helmets on), entered their first official
sprint bike race (10 miles) in Hawaii a few days ago.
Eric’s average speed was 21 mph &  Susan averaged 19 mph.
They competed in the 55-59 age group for this race.

Susan won her age group for this race and was 5th over all for all age groups,
which included 20 women.   Friends, Kerry and Susan, (on right in photo)
also participated in the race.  Friend Susan beat Susan Harvey by just 30 seconds.
Way to go ladies.

Friends Kerry & Susan are competing in the ironman in Hawaii, later this year.
Eric beat Kerry to the finish line in this sprint race  (Not bad for a couple of old men.)
No the Harveys are not competing in the Ironman but they do compete
in several shorter triathlons during the season.

FYI...  The Ironman is the leader in Endurance Sports with
over 230 events across 53 countries…
There is even one in Tempe AZ Nov 22, 2020.

"The End"
