Family Fun & Frolic... AZ Style

First family selfie... Eric came from AK via Denver CO
 while Kristine  came from Folsom CA.  Notice that I said
"first family"  not The First Family.. 

Eric spent time with Dad showing him some great
new "apps"...

while Mom showed Kristine how it's done...
Pickleball that is, not cooking!!!

Next stop, the grocery store.
 When I asked the "kids" to pose by
the cart, they both quickly picked up a healthy
item so you wouldn't notice all the chips
and junk food that was buried in the cart.
I guess that's why they stay so lean & mean!!!

After a couple of day's this is what it
looked like as we all tried to watch football...
Eric assumed the position,

& Kristine didn't fall off that
"inflatable bed", she just tried to reposition
her floor position  as I snapped this shot.

Hmmm, do I hear snoring during football?

Looking west, from our upstairs patio
towards  the lights of Phoenix in the distance,
as Eric boarded his flight back to Denver.

To celebrate Eric's departure (ha ha), the next day
we headed to Saguaro Lake

to enjoy the scenery surrounding the Salt River.

We really enjoyed the views & the food from the

outdoor deck of the Shiprock Restaurant,

where many fine feathered friends anxiously
awaited for morsels to hit the deck!!!

Well, that's about the  tall & short of it. 
 Don 5'8"  Eric 6'3" 
Kristine 5'10"and yours truly 5'7". 

In summary, it was also Eric's 57th birthday.  OMG.

you to make the trip to see the ole folks.
